At Italianiron & Britiron Classics, we do hope that we can all return to a certain level of normalcy in the not-so-distant future. However, that still appears to be some months off. Fortunately, we continue to stay busy providing items for customer projects and to offer more items for Ducati's and Norton's. We remain focused on supporting the international sport of Classic Motorcycle Racing from the early belt driven Ducati engines to the 1liter Ducati 996 & 999 Superbikes as well as the Norton Commando's and Molnar Manx. We are excited by the amount of enthusiasm for our TT racer chassis & bodywork kits and have been having fun working with enthusiasts who are using our kits to build their own classic TT racer or Ducati F1 classic street bike. Shown below is our TT 2 bodywork kit (blue on red TT 1) for street use with recesses for headlamps as shown below on my TT 1 racer that offers your TT Racer that dual purpose role of track day "weapon"and legal road bike.

We continue to have great success selling our most popular chrome-moly TT 900 racer chassis kits for use with modern Ducati 750 cc through 1100 cc DS engines for the ultimate Post Classic Superbike. We also offer our successful TT 2 frame in 25 mm chrome-moly tubing for the smaller displacement Ducati belt driven engines. Please know that in addition to offering the complete TT chassis kit, that we can also sell just the frame separately. I have added a separate listing for those racers and bike builders who just need our very successful 25 mm or 28 mm chrome-moly TT frame. Our TT frames are direct copies of the Tony Rutter Verlicchi race frame that TR/Ducati UK Racing team used successfully in their pursuit of the 4 (four) F2 World Championships that they did, in fact, achieve. We also offer complete Omega piston sets as well as cylinder barrels to suit all models of air cooled Ducati belt driven twins to include the Pantah, TT1, TT2, TTF1, 750 ss and 900 ss engines. According to Jim Blomley, founder of Two Wheel Classics and friend of Tony's, this is an "exact copy of Tony Rutter's works piston. Tony's original piston weighed 352 gm but this updated Omega piston weighs 294 gm". These pistons have 2 rings that are teflon coated to run in Nikasil bores and comes complete with rings, gudgeon pins and circlips. These OMEGA pistons are a great compliment to our Pantah based rear cylinder heads where the carburetor is mounted to the rear of the rear/vertical cylinder like the Ducati Bevel Drive Super Sports and early belt driven Pantah based engines. Due to our working relationship with Molnar Precision LTD/Molnar Manx in the UK, we continue to have loads of fun working with Norton Commando's, Molnar Manx and other British marques such as Vincent and Triumph through our BritIron Classics operation. In addition, we are excited to announce that we are now able to offer our speciality aluminum barrels for Norton Commando and Norton Atlas twin cylinder engines. Our Norton twin barrels are cast in fully heat treated L169 aerospace spec aluminum alloy and available for 650 cc, 750 cc 850 cc, 920 cc and up to the "mighty" 1 liter 1000 cc engines. I am personally very excited at building a Norton Commando 1000 cc racer. Please know that our 1000 cc is a unique build and requires specialty engine cases, crank, and head. In additional to our portfolio of Norton Commando barrels, we can now offer through Molnar Precision LTD, Norton Commando "heavy duty" engine crank cases. This is personally very exciting that we can continue to work to keep these British Norton Commando "Beasts" alive and well. Molnar Precision LTD started with a set of Norton 850 Commando MK2 crankcases and created patterns to manufacture these cases. Attention was given to strengthen those areas where the original items were commonly known to be prone to breaking! Specific attention was also given to the top side of the timing case cavity and the upper areas of the drive side. These technologically enhanced engine cases are cast in fully heat treated LM25TF. Then they are machined on state of the art 5 axis machines to provide a product of enhanced quality that has not previously been available to the road racer or to the Norton enthusiast. These Norton Commando engine cases are designed as standard and in original 850 and 750 Commando specifications. A 1000 cc version is available but know that our 1000 cc is a unique build and requires specialty items such as our engine cases, our specialty crank, and specialty head. We continue to accumulate and list our OEM Norton Commando and Atlas engines and other bits on our BritIron Classics section of our Italianiron.com website as quickly as possible. Will be working with a website specialist to better show off our newly manufactured as well as our OEM Norton Commando & Atlas bits as I am sure that it is a bit unusual to find Norton Commando and Molnar Manx items listed on an Italianiron site normally focused on Ducatis. However, shown below is one of several Norton Commando gear boxes. I purchased this gear box and 4 others from a Norton specialist when he retired. Item is complete but as of yet has not been rebuilt. Therefore, please understand that the item is Sold, As:Is.
