Ducati 851 Customer Build at ItalianIron Classics, LLC

At ItalianIron we have restored primarily, Bevel Drive Ducati 750 Sports and 900 Super Sports, however, we do like building projects such as more modern Ducati 851's. One could argue that due to its age that an 851 is really a vintage motorcycle.  Regardless, we have built or restored 4 Ducati 851's. My favorite is the Tri-Colore. Since I find that I cannot leave things alone, I did change a few things like the paint scheme by extending the Bimota metalic green through the front fender/mudguard and the switch the engine. Our recent restoration project that is now available for sale is a 1981 Ducati 900 SSD. I would recommend this Ducati for that individual who loves the Ducati brand and is smitten with the Taglioni inspired Bevel Drive engines of the 1970's and 1980's. Additionally, this 900 SSD is a limited production model and along with the Mike Hailwood Replica was part of Ducati's marketing efforts back in the late 70's and 1980's to increase sales by building upon the successes of the Bevel Drive 900 SD and the 900 ss racers. Defining our Mission at ItalianIron Classics, LLC

Italian Iron Classics, LLC was created as a means to share a passion for riding, racing and restoring Vintage Racing and Race Replica motorcycles. Over the past 30 plus years, I have spent time mostly restoring projects for myself on a hobby basis. Now I am focusing on buying/selling, restoring and shipping motorcycles and motorcycle parts internationally. Our focus is the Ducati brand but just recently we added a Brit Iron Classics effort as a compliment to Italian Iron Classics, LLC since I started with Brit bikes many, many years ago.
